nature lovers' paradise! This 7-day return tour from Perth to the northern
town of Exmouth is filled with plenty of opportunities for relaxing on white
sandy beaches and explore incredible national parks.


You'll visit the famous limestone formation at the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung
National Park, hike down to the Murchison River and peek into Natures Window
in Kalbarri National Park, visit a UNESCO World Heritage-listed region — Shark
Bay — where you'll find yourself in awe of nature's beauty surrounding you and
a beach made entirely of tiny white shells, and meet the world's oldest living
fossils, the Stromatolites. You'll even get the chance to spot dolphins
playing just offshore at Monkey Mia, as well as turtles, dugongs, kangaroos,
and emus who inhabit this region!


Don't miss a chance to snorkel in Coral Bay in the Ningaloo Reef, another
World Heritage-listed site, for a chance in a lifetime encounter with manta
rays and whale sharks. Your final stop is at Exmouth Cape, where you can stand
atop the Vlamingh Head at the lighthouse for stunning views over the reef and
nearby ranges. During spring, you may even get lucky and spot migrating
humpback whales swimming by! And finally, complete your tour of the Cape by
walking on its sandy white beach and snorkeling in the crystal clear water of
Turquoise Bay.


To conclude the tour, you'll depart Exmouth and make your way back towards
Perth while stopping for many comfort breaks along the way, allowing you to
reflect on this amazing adventure and all the memories you made along the way!

Itinerary

  • Start your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert before enjoying lunch by the sea at Jurien Bay and journey up Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views.

  • Enjoy your accommodation at the Pelicans Nest Kalbarri (private – ensuite) or at Kalbarri Backpackers YHA (dorm – shared bathroom facilities)

  • Rise early for a magical start to the day, with a photo opportunity at sunrise at either Nature’s Window or theKalbarri Skywalk. Visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park where water has carved its way through sandstone. Witness bright pops of colour here during wildflower season (spring).

  • After lunch by the River mouth in Kalbarri we travel on towards Monkey Mia with plenty of comfort stops along the way before arriving at our accommodation by the beach."

  • Enjoy the stunning view and watch the Monkey Mia Dolphins swim close shore. Take a stroll along the picturesque beach made entirely of tiny shells, followed by a hearty lunch.

  • Rest easy at this night's accommodation; Ningaloo Coral Bay Budget Private or Backpacker Dorms or a similar accommodation

  • Use the larger part of your day to explore the Ningaloo Reef, Australia's largest fringe reef, at your own pace. Then, you can opt to join a boat tour or spend your free time experiencing Coral Bay's beautiful beaches!

  • Rest up at the Potshot Hotel Resort's private double room (ensuite) or the Backpacker Dorms or a similar accommodation (shared bathroom facilities)

  • Have fun exploring the Cape Range National Park, a spectacular place that features rugged limestone ranges, deep canyons, and over 50km of pristine beaches

  • Go snorkeling at the enchanting Turquoise Bay or simply relax on the beach

  • Sleep soundly at the Potshot Hotel Resort's private double room (ensuite) or the Backpacker Dorms or a similar accommodation (shared bathroom facilities)

  • Visit the town of Carnarvon and one of the local banana or mango plantations (seasonal)

  • Stay the night at the Northbrook Farmstay's private and dorm room (shared bathroom facilities) or a similar accommodation

  • Visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial and indulge in dazzling views of Geraldton. You can also take a relaxing walk along the bay at Green Head, before wandering amongst Stromatolites of Lake Thetis

  • Have a lavender ice cream at the Yanchep Lavender farm before kicking back on the bus as we head into Perth with drop off starting around 6:00pm.
