The trail passes through the lush Kilimanjaro rainforest, where rain showers are possible. Bring a waterproof jacket, spare clothes, and comfortable hiking shoes. Your experienced guide will set a steady pace and support you throughout the trek. After approximately 3–4 hours of hiking, arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700 m / 8,858 ft).
