The Kawa-Kawa mangrove river cruise offers a wide range of options, but we are
committed providing you with a truly exceptional experience. We have carefully
selected the Tamao River as our core route. This wetland is better protected
compared to others, giving you an 80%–90% chance of spotting proboscis
monkeys, significantly higher than the average 50% on other routes of Kawa-
Kawa.

Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea and relax. If the weather is
good, you can visit a small eco farm to interact closely with sheep, chicks,
and ducklings, experiencing the tranquility and warmth of nature. Sail along
the Kawa Kawa River, a lush rainforest home to an amazing number of species.
Keep watch for water buffaloes, egrets, river otters, long-tailed macaques,
silvered leaf monkeys, and even the famous proboscis monkeys, known for their
distinctively long nose.

After dinner, watch the stunning sunset from Nanamun Beach, and then head back
to the river to admire the sight of thousands of fireflies illuminating the
sky of the Kawa Kawa River. During the journey back to downtown of Kota
Kinabalu, admire beautiful exterior of Floating Mosque. Appreciate its elegant
