Great driver and was very helpful throughout our trip and did more than I expected

阿星 is an amazing driver! She truly goes the extra mile - patiently helping us translate with local stalls so we could get exactly what we needed. Thanks to her, everything was smooth and stress-free. Super helpful, thoughtful and reliable. Highly recommended when you are in Jeju!

The driver was very helpful and accommodating, fulfilling our requests to visit multiple locations. He offered excellent recommendations on places to visit and eat, and even helped take group photos at each stop. His driving was safe and smooth, and he was always pleasant and professional. Although we exceeded the time limit, he was very understanding and didn’t mind at all. We would definitely recommend his services.

Car - KIA Carnival model was horribly uncomfortable. All rear passengers are seated in an almost “squatting” position (ie the “which means the legs are almost 90deg, the seats were too low or the platform is too high) and getting in&out of the car was super inconvenient. Driver - Moon was not quite service-oriented and had to put up with his “black face” right from the start of the trip. He waited at the hotel basement and when we arrived he wasn’t very jovial in welcoming us, and somewhat lamented we had a stroller (which I had mentioned in my booking). He didn’t bother to help much with the seats adjustment throughout the 3 days whether we need to get in/out of the car. Did try to make small talks but the overall vibe was quite bad; basically not service oriented and it’s as if we “owe him a living” sort of tone and attitude. Also, if I had known booking a private hire means everyone has to follow only ONE location at one time I wouldn’t have booked through Pelago - he said while we booked him 9h per day, we cannot split locations due to “company policy”. Quite appalling. But he did “accommodate” for the first day but this really is distasteful as we are “at his mercy” to drop us off at different places (the elderly drop off markets while the kids at play area) for the next 2 days OR we had to workaround our itinerary and planned to book a cab to meet up with the folks separately. Well thankfully for this our kids play location was enroute the market, he fetched us on the way back to city albeit with displeasure. This is the worst private hire I’ve ever experienced - car and driver. Wished I had engaged last year’s instead (I didn’t because we wanted to try out a different operator). Bad decision.
