Highlights
Embark on a unique tour to explore the rich history of beer in Toronto. From its early days as York in the 1800s to the bustling metropolis it is today, beer has been an integral part of the city's culture. Delve into the world of Toronto-made beer and regional craft brews as you visit two historic pubs and a brew pub. Hear fascinating anecdotes about how beer has been a source of solace and joy for Torontonians through various challenges and eras. From coping with cholera, fires, and wars to navigating through the Victorian era, beer has been a constant companion.
Conclude your tour with a visit to the iconic Saint Lawrence Market and the vibrant Distillery District. The Distillery District, once an industrial park and whiskey factory, has been transformed into a thriving hub of art, culture, and cafes.

Dave the tour guide was excellent - pointing out historical features with accompanying stories The choice of bars and the beers we had were really good I enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it
When we arrived, we discovered that the tour we booked only the day before had been revised by the provider a while back, the listing is correct on their direct booking platform but Pelago is still taking bookings under the old listing as well as a seperate revised listing. We were not over the moon about doing a food tour on a 38C day instead of the brewing tour we booked. It was the tour guide’s last day and he told us that the food tour has been discontinued as well and we were the last one ever. So a review is kind of moot…ho hum. On the plus side, we met a nice couple on the tour and went to the pub with them afterwards so we did sample a couple of enjoyable brews, just in our own time and on our own dime.
