04.00 AM - You will be greeted and picked up by our driver and taken to Wilpaththu National Park. 07.00 AM - Before starting your safari, you will be able to enjoy your packed breakfast near the Wilpattu National Park. After breakfast, you will start the first half of your safari. The leopards at park are elusive, yet the high density makes spotting leopards at park easier. The unique “Villu” lake ecosystem inside national park provide a perfect setting for seeing these beautiful creatures up close in their natural habitat. Villus are natural rainwater lakes, which work as an important water source for this dry zone park’s wild inhabitants. They also draw herds of Asian elephants and provide a habitat for birdlife.
