It was a very enriching experience. our family had so much fun. Most importantly, we saved a lot by booking with pelago as compared.with other apps because we had a 20% discount by travelling with scoots airlines. will definitely recommend this to friends and familu!
It was fantastic day with a little big babies Meena , Ellie and their family’s at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Chiang Mai ! The staff are very nice and really make the visitors happy and enjoy the activities. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you so much ! 🤩🙏🏻🐘🐘 Highly recommended
Amazing experience. Did the half-day tour by myself and it was really nice to see the elephants being taken care of. Hotel pick-up is available and very on time. Very helpful staff and photographer, as you want to just be present especially when doing the elephant bath and mud, and you still can have your experience documented.
Glad that i chose this half a day activity. Pick up at hotel 630-7am and reached my hotel back around 1pm. We got to interact with the rescued elephants thru feeding them lotsa bananas, swimming with them and covering them with mud.. managed to see a 4 month old baby elephant playing with water and frolicking in the mud within its pen area. change of clothes and towel required, shower facilities provided on site. Buffet Lunch was provided as well! Photo taking is included in the price as well.
We signed up for the one-hour elephant feeding session and enjoyed our upclose experiences with the friendly giants. The elephants, which were rescued from the circus and fun ride companies, enjoyed the fruits and canes we fed them. The project leader hosted us warmly and explained the meaningful cause of his project: to care for all elephants and relieve them as tools of humans leisure activities. Please support them and drop them a visit when in Chiang Mai! :)
Good to know and understand about other living things better.
The ride to and fro was at least 2.5-3 hours, seats were comfy. Experience there was amazing, had a great time interacting w the elephants and the staff onsite were super friendly. Would recommend if you're in Chiang Mai!
The close up experience with the elephants was great and in fact the most enjoyable thing to do. However, there's a lot of time spent listening to the guide talking and the ride to the camp was not that great as we were taken in a truck (though they called it taxi in Chiang Mai) and the road was bumpy.
