- Service Introduction -

• The rental fee is calculated based on a 24-hour period. Please select your pick-up and return dates and times when booking.
• Vehicle Type: S Class (VITZ, FIT, YARIS, etc.)
• Passenger Capacity: 5 seats (The actual number of passengers may vary depending on the amount of luggage and the use of child safety seats.)
• Required Documents: National passport, original national driver's license, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) recognized by Japan or a Japanese translation of your national driver's license (please see the instructions below).
• If you hold a driver's license issued by one of the 6 countries/regions (Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco), you may drive in Japan for up to one year from the date of entry by presenting your national driver's license along with its Japanese translation. Please bring both documents and your passport to the rental office to process your car rental. Travelers from other countries must hold an International Driving Permit recognized by Japan and their own passport to drive within Japan.

- Cashless Medical Service (Effective from 2024/4/1) -

• If you are injured in a traffic accident during your rental period, this service will help you find a hospital with language support for treatment, allowing you to receive care without out-of-pocket medical expenses.
• Before renting the car, on-site staff will require you to provide and register the names of all passengers (as they appear on their passports) and the rental/return dates.
• The rental office will require you to fill out relevant documents at the time of pick-up. Please be aware that this service will not apply to any passengers who are not registered.

- About the Insurance Coverage Provided in this Rental Plan -

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Includes coverage for property damage and vehicle damage deductibles. If multiple accidents occur under a single rental contract, the CDW only applies to the first accident.

• Non-Operation Charge (NOC) Coverage
  
  NOC coverage exempts the driver from compensating the rental company for
  business losses incurred while the vehicle is out of service. If NOC coverage
  is not included, you may be charged the following fees:
  
  1. If the driver is able to return the vehicle to the rental office: 20,000
  JPY
  
  2. If the vehicle is severely damaged and cannot be driven back to the rental
  office: 50,000 JPY

  
  

• Full Support Insurance
  
  The Full Support insurance provides comprehensive coverage for items not
  covered by the aforementioned CDW and NOC coverage.
  
  Examples: Repair costs for tire damage, exhaust pipes, etc., and vehicle
  towing fees. (Excludes fuel costs.)
  
  ☆ Please note that all insurance/compensation will be void in the following
  situations:
  
  1. Failure to follow required procedures, such as reporting the accident to
  the police and contacting the rental office.
  
  2. Accidents where the other party is at fault.
  
  3. Violation of the rental agreement.
  
  Accidents occurring while the vehicle is driven by someone other than the
  renter, unauthorized extension of the rental period, driving without a
  license, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or settling with the
  other party privately without authorization, etc.
  
  4. Negligence in usage and management.
  
  Reckless driving (intentional accidents, etc.), damage or loss of accessories,
  stains or odors that cannot be removed by standard cleaning (including smoking
  in non-smoking vehicles), damage caused by refueling with the wrong type of
  fuel, theft due to leaving keys in the vehicle or leaving the car unlocked,
  damage caused by improper installation of tire chains or roof racks, and
  damage caused by driving on terrain that may damage the vehicle, such as
  riverbeds or forests.
  
  5. Exclusions under the insurance policy.
  
  Damage to property owned, used, or managed by the customer; damage caused by
  earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or resulting tsunamis; other intentional
  damages, etc.
