and Cultural Gardens (Expo '70 Commemorative Park)ー
The Expo '70 Commemorative Park was built on the site of the 1970 Japan World
Exposition. The Natural and Cultural Gardens, located in the heart of the
park, is a vast area where the futuristic city space once filled with
pavilions has been transformed into a lush, green forest.
On the west side of the park, a zone of forests and satoyama landscapes
centers around the Tower of the Sun, with streams and waterfalls flowing
through valleys and past the water wheel tea house. Beyond this, the flatlands
feature the Festival Plaza, where the opening and closing ceremonies of the
1970 Expo were held, and green spaces bustling with events. The Plaza of the
Sun is a popular photo spot, and standing where the Grand Roof once stood
evokes memories of the World Expo.
The Flower Hill is covered in poppies, nemophila, and mustard flowers in
spring, and cosmos in autumn, with seasonal flower festivals held regularly.
Additionally, the Solard forest observation path allows you to view the Expo
forest from the highest perspective in the park.
The park is equipped with activities for families to enjoy all day, including
large play equipment for children, boat-shaped play structures, cycle boats,
unique bicycles, and the forest train. Please note that separate fees are
required for admission to cultural facilities such as the EXPO '70 Pavilion
and the National Museum of Ethnology.

- This ticket is valid for admission to both the Natural and Cultural Park and the Japanese Garden.
- High school students and older must purchase adult tickets. Tickets are not included for elementary and junior high school students (including junior high school students) and preschool children. Please pay for these at the ticket counter.
- Separate admission fees are required to enter cultural facilities such as the EXPO '70 Pavilion, the National Museum of Ethnology, and the Osaka Japan Folk Crafts Museum.
- Some activities within the park (cycle boating, novelty bicycles, forest train, Fantasma, etc.) require an additional fee. Please check on-site for details.
- Depending on the ticket type, you may be asked to present identification. If you are unable to present the appropriate identification, we may adjust the price or refuse your entry.

- Our regular closing days are every Wednesday (or the following weekday if Wednesday is a public holiday) and during the New Year holidays, however, we are open every day from April 1st to May 2nd, and throughout October and November.

- Use of the festival plaza and surrounding green space may be restricted due to events or other circumstances.
