Due to recent sharp increases in global fuel prices, a temporary fuel surcharge (TFS) will apply to all Sindo Ferry journeys from 12 March 2026. This surcharge is temporary and will be reviewed and adjusted or removed once fuel prices stabilise.
Surcharge Rates (Per Passenger, Per Journey):
- Singapore Terminals (Harbourfront / Tanah Merah): SGD 6
- Indonesia Terminals (Batam / Tg Pinang / Tg Balai): IDR 65,000
- HarbourFront Centre: 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM (Singapore Time).
- Batam Centre Ferry Terminal: 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Indonesia Time).
- Daily Ferry Schedule (HarbourFront to Batam Centre): 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:20 AM, 1:20 PM, 4:10 PM, 5:20 PM, 6:30 PM, 8:45 PM, 9:50 PM (Singapore Time).
- Daily Ferry Schedule (Batam Centre to HarbourFront): 6:00 AM, 7:20 AM, 8:40 AM, 10:40 AM, 12:40 PM, 3:10 PM, 5:20 PM, 6:20 PM, 7:30 PM (Indonesia Time).
- Subject to change. Refer to latest schedule on the official website.
- Please arrive at the terminal at least 60 minutes before departure to complete check-in procedures.
- Duration: 1-hour ferry ride each way.
- 20 kg check-in baggage allowance per traveler; hand-carried items up to 10 kg allowed through departure gate.
- Complimentary mineral water provided onboard.
- Travelers must comply with travel and immigration requirements (e.g., visa, health permits); valid 6-month passport required.
- From September 1, 2025, declare arrival information via AllIndonesia Mobile app or https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id up to 3 days before entering Indonesia.
- Check-in counter will not issue boarding passes without complete pre-departure requirements.
- Valid 6-month passport required for all passengers.
- All passengers including infants must possess a valid ticket.
- Children aged 4 and above require a full fare ticket.
- Infants and toddlers under 4 are not eligible for free passage and must have a valid ticket issued.
Wheelchair availability at the terminal is subject to availability, contact operator for specific needs.
