You will be picked up from your hotel by a private vehicle with driver for a half day visit of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Located north of Copenhagen the museum features a spectacular panoramic view across the Sound. The museum incorporates an approach to interaction between art, nature, architecture and landscape that attracts visitors from around the world. Louisiana is an international museum with a distinguished and considerable collection of modern art with over 3,500 works and presents six to ten special exhibitions annually. It covers the key artistic periods beginning of 1945 to present day, including Picasso, Giacometti, Dubuffet, Yves Klein, Andy Warhol, Rauschenberg, Henry Moore, Louise Bourgeois, Philip Guston, Morris Louis, Jorn, Baselitz, Polke, Kiefer, and Per Kirkeby. Louisiana therefore has a long standing tradition of culture-historical exhibitions and of presenting large, international photo, design and architecture shows.
