Departing in the afternoon, we will visit Ayutthaya's three major historical
sites. We will visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet, where the kings of Ayutthaya are
buried; Wat Mahathat, a familiar sight in guidebooks; and Wat Yai Chai
Mongkhon, characterized by its 72-meter-tall stupa, and experience a moment to
feel the timeless history!
Take a break at the cafe between sightseeing. Enjoy a drink of your choice
from our extensive menu, including smoothies and frappés. What's more, this
cafe is special because elephants come to visit! Enjoy feeding them and taking
photos with them up close!
[Ayothaya Cafe]
A cafe where you can take photogenic pictures with elephants! Choose one drink
from our extensive menu, including smoothies and frappés.
The dessert menu is also extensive. We recommend the number one must-try
dessert when you come to Thailand, "Khao Niao Man Muang (mango sticky rice)"
(additional charge applies).
Photos with the elephants will be taken using your mobile phone (camera) by
the cafe staff (basic English communication available).

This temple was built in 1351 by King Uthong, who founded the Ayutthaya
Kingdom. The striking stupa stands 72 meters tall. This stupa was built in
1592 to commemorate the victory of King Naresuan the Great in a duel against a
Burmese prince. Visitors can climb the stupa and enjoy the surrounding views.
The reclining Buddha statue and the Buddha statues in the corridors of the
temple grounds are also impressive, making it an iconic temple of Ayutthaya.Wat Phra Si Sanphet
This was the most important temple within the Ayutthaya Royal Palace,
featuring three Sri Lankan-style stupas. It was the guardian temple where
three kings of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, who left their mark on Thai history,
were buried, and is comparable to the Emerald Temple of the Bangkok Kingdom.
It was destroyed during the Burmese invasion in the 18th century, but was
restored after the war, and now only the remains of the stupas and pillars
remain.Wat Mahathat (Wat Phra Mahathat) is a temple you'll likely see in guidebooks. It's famous for its impressive Buddha head encased in a tree. The fact that the Buddha head, which fell from its body in the mid-1600s, has remained horizontally balanced and incorporated into the base of the tree is nothing short of miraculous. It's the most popular temple to visit in Ayutthaya.
