The drive is about 2 hours from Arusha or 3 hours from Kilimanjaro. You can request a supermarket stop if needed. At the park, your guide handles entry permits. Your game drive starts immediately. Look for Tarangire's famous elephant herds, lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, monkeys, and giraffes. It's also a great park for bird watching. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park around noon. After lunch, continue exploring on an afternoon game drive to see more wildlife and scenery.
