This is a calligraphy lesson, a cultural experience program offered by the Tourist Information Center in Yanaka. Children, as well as adults, can enjoy this program. Calligraphy is considered to be a complex art, but it can be fun. Experienced, friendly Sensei will teach you how to do it!

    How about a calligraphy experience during your Yanaka stroll?　 A master calligrapher will teach you how to write basic calligraphy. Next, choose a character and write it while learning from the instructor. Finally, you can write your favorite character on a Shikishi board. You will be able to create your unique keepsake, even T-shirts. Let's try!! Let's draw! Anyone can participate!
