This commercial district was built by the British in 1931 and is famous for its colonnaded, crescent shaped white buildings that have some of the oldest shops of New Delhi. The first stop will be lunch at Delhi’s most renowned South Indian restaurant - Saravana Bhavan (beverage excluded). You may have to wait for a little while to get a table, but it is definitely worth it.
