The treasure hunt takes place in the enchanting medieval village of Certaldo Alto and, specifically, in Palazzo Pretorio. The old Palazzo Civico is entirely decorated both inside and out by the coats of arms of the families of the Florentine governors who resided here and who administered the government and justice of this territory for centuries. Once inside the central frescoed loggia, participants will be given a parchment. Each scroll contains a puzzle to solve and the key to open the chest that will lead players to the next step. From the moment the first question is opened, the participants will have one hour to solve all the puzzles contained in the following 6 parchments and discover where the Vicar's treasure is hidden.
