Mission Bay is a great spot for snorkelers of all skill levels! We will be snorkeling in a calm, flat body of water that feeds into the Pacific Ocean. Being in the bay, we typically encounter lots of invertebrates, including sea slugs, octopus, urchins, in addition to fish and interesting algae! After a brief safety and snorkel etiquette talk, we will explore the area for one hour (60 minutes). I will point out and provide detailed information on the flora and fauna we encounter during the experience! Wetsuits are NOT provided. *If you are a non-swimmer, please message me prior to booking to see if this is the right experience for you. Sometimes guests can be overwhelmed by the water but this is the perfect place to learn! I have hosted non-swimmers in the past on private tours. Any living animals found will be left on their own; we do not interfere, touch, or handle any living marine life, following Viator's Animal Welfare Policy.
