・Stargazing & Night Safari

Ishigaki Island is often called the 'Island of Stars' or 'Star Island' and was
the first location in Japan to be certified as a 'Dark Sky Reserve.' Because
it is less affected by jet streams, if the weather is clear, you can see a sky
full of stars that looks like a still photograph.

The night safari, where you can explore the jungle at night, is also very
popular. Ishigaki Island, which belongs to the subtropical climate zone, has
its own unique ecosystem. Let's go search for the unique flora and fauna of
the subtropics.

・Natural Planetarium

With less artificial light compared to the mainland, Ishigaki Island is a
famous spot for stargazing. If the conditions are right, you might be able to
see a sky full of stars!
