Spend a relaxed day exploring the Bay of Islands aboard Carino NZ, our spacious 15-metre sailing catamaran. Departing from Paihia, our Island & Wildlife Day Cruise combines genuine sailing, wildlife watching and time ashore on an island, with small groups and plenty of room to enjoy the day. Join in and help with the sails when the wind allows, or find a comfortable place on deck while our crew share local knowledge, stories, history and wildlife observations. As we sail, we actively look for wild dolphins, little blue penguins, seabirds and other marine life. Carino Wildlife Cruises operates under a marine mammal permit, with responsible wildlife viewing guided by the behaviour of the animals we encounter. Wildlife is completely wild, so sightings are never guaranteed. Your skipper chooses a sheltered island stop to suit the conditions, with time ashore to walk, swim, snorkel, explore the shoreline or simply relax. A Kiwi-style BBQ lunch is included and served on board during the island stop.
