Then, we all will proceed on the traditional walk around the temple, visiting the significant monuments and sub-temples along the way. After this spiritual and energy filled walk, we will start to go beyond what any normal tourist is allowed to see. Our 10+ years of volunteering has given me access to places no tourist can enter, and I offer you an inside look into the behind the scenes miracles keeping the temple running. We will visit the kitchen which is one of the largest in the world, where you will get the opportunity to cook for up to 100,000 people, making chapatis, stirring massive cauldrons, and washing dishes with hundreds of Sikhs.
