Stop at Kuranda Village: Pick up guests joining from Kuranda Village.Giant Termite Mound Visit and Wild Kangaroo Spotting: See giant termite mounds as tall as a person. Each one is small, but this is also part of our wildlife exploration! From there, we will go in search of wild kangaroos!
Rock Wallaby Feeding at Granite Gorge: Although nocturnal, they come out to meet us even during the day! Let's try feeding them while listening to the guide's explanation!
Curtain Fig Tree Visit in the National Park: Head into the national park to see the 'Curtain Fig Tree,' also known by the rather ominous name of 'strangler fig'! *From May to September, the visit may be moved to after dinner.
Arrival at Doki Doki Campsite: This is our base for plenty of events, including platypus spotting, a BBQ dinner, a night rainforest walk, and stargazing (weather permitting)! You might even see fireflies on summer nights??
Platypus Spotting: As the sun sets, we set off to find the rare platypus. Look forward to the guide's explanation on why they are considered such rare animals!
BBQ Dinner: A BBQ dinner featuring tastings of crocodile and kangaroo meat.
Night Rainforest Walk: Once the sun goes down, Australia's animals become active.
