1. Ayutthaya tourist attractions

You can experience the splendid Buddhist history at this temple, which is
registered as a World Cultural Heritage site. Ayutthaya, the old capital of
Thailand, was designated as a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1991.

  • Breakwater Summer Villa

Bang Pa-In, the summer palace of King Prasat Thong of Ayutthaya in the
mid-17th century, is located in the middle of a 400m long and 40m wide lake
and was used as a summer residence for the kings during the Ayutthaya period.
    (*Cart rental not included)

  • Wat Mahathat

Wat Mahathat was a royal monastery and the spiritual center of the city. It
was restored and rebuilt several times after the Ayutthaya period, but
collapsed in 1904. In 1956, the Ministry of Culture's Department of Fine Arts
conducted restoration work, and many relics, including the Buddha's relics,
other Buddhist statues, and offerings enshrined in the stupa, were excavated
and are now on display at the museum.

  • Wat Lokayasutharam

'Wat Lokayasutharam' is a temple located behind the Grand Palace and is famous
for its 42m tall reclining Buddha. You can make a wish by sticking gold leaf
in front of the miniature reclining Buddha or make an offering of flowers and
    incense.

  • Rak na cafe

In Thai, the word 'Rak' means love, and 'Na' means rice field. As the name
suggests, meaning love for rice fields, the green rice fields and fields form
a spectacular view before your eyes. Feel the leisure in nature, the charm of
    Rak Na Cafe.

  • Wat Chaiwatthanaram

It is said that King Prasat built this temple for his mother, modeled after
the Khmer-style Angkor Wat, and the overall appearance of the temple is like a
    miniature version of Angkor Wat.

  • long tail boat

You can see a new side of Ayutthaya on the Pasak River by taking a boat ride
of about 30 to 40 minutes. (For safety reasons, nighttime operation is not
available, and boat times may change depending on the season.)

2. Floating Market

A traditional floating market in Ayutthaya where you can buy various local
souvenirs and handicrafts and enjoy various street foods. You can also try
Thai snacks sold on boats and experience feeding koi fish with a baby bottle,
which is hard to experience in Korea.
