The Ellora caves are an impressive complex built between the 6th and 10th century AD near the ancient Indian village of Ellora. These caves have slightly less dramatic setting than those at Ajanta, but they have more exquisite sculptures. It also got carvings about the important mythological stories of Hinduism, which are Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ellora is a world heritage and the most visited ancient monument in Maharashtra. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to visit the caves.
