Real de Salinas is a ghost town of which only its ruins can be seen, because according to the inhabitants, the place was uninhabited by its inhabitants due to a curse. Real de Salinas is located 10 kilometers from Celestún Yucatán, near the mangroves, where you can see the vestiges of a civilization that was prosperous at the time, however, its inhabitants were dying little by little and those who remained preferred to abandon their homes. Upon reaching this ghost town you can see a chapel in ruins and without a roof; crossing the esplanade you can see the worn houses and at the entrance a text written on the wall, which gives traces of the curse that “self-launched in the place.
