The community with which has established a relationship is located just a hour drive away from the city and constitutes an enjoyable road trip with panoramic views of the country side. Once you arrive within the village, you can meet the people, visit a typical Maasai home, learn about Maasai daily life, enjoy dancing and singing displays and visit the community’s own handicrafts market.
The vibrancy of Maasai culture is unrivaled and typically centers around a brushwood enclosure into which the community’s cows and goats are herding is their daily activities.
Itinerary
The day tour involves a drive from Nairobi to a traditional Masai village located in the heart of the savannah plains in Kajiado .
Upon arrival, you will be met by friendly Maasai warriors who will provide information about their customs, traditions, and way of life. You will then visit a traditional Maasai homestead where you can witness various daily activities such as milking cows, herding goats, and preparing food using traditional methods.
There will also be a chance to interact with the Maasai people and take part in traditional dances and ceremonies.
