Highlights
There are many ways to travel from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, but land transposition is the most common. We provide a private intercity transfer by a comfortable and good quality air-conditioned vehicle. Our driver is qualified and experienced and friendly. If we start early, we can stop for a sight seeing of a 12th-century Spean Praptos bridge and a late-6th-century Sambor Prei Kuk Capital. When arrived Phnom Penh, we will drop you off at your hotel and Phnom Penh International Airport.
Itinerary
Private Intercity Transfer by comfortable good quality air-conditioned vehicle from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh.
A range of good quality vehicles is available. Vehicles are driven by a qualified and experienced driver.
Guests are picked up at their hotel in Siem Reap.
A flexible start time is offered. Contact the operator if you want to start earlier.
If the vehicle departs Siem Reap early, then the vehicle can optionally stop at Spean Praptos and Sambor Prei Kuk Temple.
The vehicle can also stop to allow guests to take lunch (at guest expense). Obviously, the activity duration will be longer if stops are made.
Guests can be dropped off at their hotel in Phnom Penh or Phnom Penh International airport.
Details
Spean Praptos (also known as Kampong Kdei Bridge) on the road from Angkor to Phnom Chisor, Cambodia, used to be the longest corbeled stone-arch bridge in the world, with more than twenty narrow arches spanning 87 meters. The bridge was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few Khmer empire era bridges to have survived to the modern day.
Sambor Prei Kuk is an archaeological site, located in Kampong Thom Province, 30 km north of Kampong Thom, the provincial capital. The now ruined complex dates back to the Pre-Angkorian Chenla Kingdom (late 6th to 9th century), established by king Isanavarman I as central royal sanctuary and capital, known then as Isanapura. In 2017, Sambor Prei Kuk was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
