Highlights
Journey to the historical Oliver Hill Guns and Tunnel Fortification on board
the iconic Captain Hussey Train and take in the amazing views of Rottnest
Island. Enjoy an informative ride up Oliver Hill, passing some iconic and
historical landmarks on the island. Once you arrive at Oliver Hill you will
have 60 minute photo opportunity (if taking immediate return train, you will
have approximately a 5-10 minute photo opportunity) before heading back to the
Main Settlement on the train, or maybe enjoy a guided tour of the Guns and
Tunnels at Oliver Hill, provided by the volunteer Rottnest Island Guides.

(Please note - Accessing the historic Oliver Hill Guns and Tunnels attraction
involves multiple sections of stair and stone steps, up to 60 in total so an
ability to manage steps is essential. Children cannot be carried, for safety
reasons, unless they are in an infant carrier leaving their carer with both
hands free.)

The train is very cute, you get to see some fun things under the guns. I did notice the train was starting to have some issues on our return trip, possibly related to the heat of the day, but the trip went fine
