Highlights
In this class, you will experience making home-style ramen and homemade gyoza from scratch using simple ingredients in a home environment. Not only will you get to enjoy a fun cultural experience during your Japan trip, but with the skills you learn, you can actually try and cook these dishes once you return home. My guests often tell me that they're surprised how simple it is to make and how delicious the food turns out. After my class, you will hopefully have the confidence to cook some delicious Japanese food for your loved ones at home.
Itinerary
5-6 Matsugasaki Rokunotsubochō
In this class, you can make Ramen (I use my mother's recipe for Ramen soup. We don't make ramen noodles), make gyoza (Japanese dumplings) with homemade skins, make cucumber pickles, and most importantly, taste your own creations. ●Please note: ・If you have any specific dietary restrictions, kindly inform me before you book. I may or may not be able to accommodate your needs. I use dried fish for ramen soup which is very common for ramen, and unfortunately, I can't make ramen soup without it. I'm sorry, but I can't make this class vegetarian. ・We don't make ramen noodles in this class, but we will make gyoza wrappers from scratch. ・Participants must be older than 10. Because this class requires the use of a knife, I ask that children be at least age 10, and able to use a knife. ・Only people who are participating in the class may attend due to limited space. No spectators, please.
