Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed into the artisan’s workshop, where your host will introduce you to the day's activity. You’ll begin with a short introduction on the cultural significance and history of beads and gain insight into their spiritual value. Choose among the following beads to make your own bracelet: tigers eye, lava stone, agate, rudraksha or conch shell. Guided by an expert who has spent years mastering the craft, you’ll learn the delicate knot-making techniques used to create handmade bead bracelets. Over the course of the two-hour workshop, you’ll experience firsthand the patience and skill involved in each step of the process while learning how each type of bead can help you spiritually. After completing your bracelet, enjoy a well-earned traditional Nepali lunch. You’ll leave not only with a full heart and belly, but also your handcrafted bracelet as a unique souvenir of your time with the artisan.
