When you’re in the Whitsundays, a sunset cruise feels like a must do to really savour the time and experience. The sundowner boat was great, and loved the setup. The crew was friendly and well organised. We had a large group and kicked off day 1 of 2026 onboard and had a great time, the kids got to have some soft drink and the parents a glass of bubbles. The view and ability to take uninterrupted photos of the ocean was great. The single grazing platter was pretty basic - some carrot, celery sticks and crackers, dip, kabana, olives and sun-dried tomatoes to share amongst 40-50 ppl, so don’t expect alot. Make sure you have dinner plans ready once you return to shore. Not sure if it was because it was New Year’s Day but most places closed at 8pm so between returning from the cruise home, we had limited time to find a place to eat dinner. We had a great time and would recommend for any families in Airlie beach.
