Known for its winding curves and breathtaking coastal views, it was featured on the Top Gear Vietnam Special as one of the world’s most beautiful coastal roads. At the top, visit Hai Van Quan, built in 1826, along with old French and American bunkers and panoramic views of the mountains and sea. We spend approximately 2 hours on the pass, including riding and frequent short stops (every 5–10 minutes) for photos, viewpoints, and breaks. Built in 2009 and opened in 2013, this 666-meter (2,185-foot) long bridge is shaped like a golden dragon and stretches across the Han River in the heart of the city. It is one of the most famous landmarks in Da Nang and is especially impressive at night when it is illuminated with colorful lights. On weekends at 8:00 PM, the dragon performs a fire and water show from its mouth, creating a unique and memorable spectacle. We stop here for a short break, take photos, and enjoy beautiful views of the city center from the bridge.
