Escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin City for one day as we take you on a private whiskey adventure to the midlands of Ireland, to the real Irish countryside. As you cruise through rural Ireland, enjoy the lively commentary from your Whiskey Specialist Host.
First stop is Old Kilbeggan Distillery, one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries which is still producing their world famous Kilbeggan whiskey.
We like to travel the secondary routes, avoiding motorways. Next, we stop in Athlone. Some free time included, we'll make sure you have good recommendations for lunch. Athlone is home to Ireland's oldest pub - Sean's. We'll regroup here after lunch for a visit.
Next , we travel not far to Tullamore, home to the world's second biggest Irish whiskey brand. The Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Experience Tour is an unforgettable visit for whiskey fans. It's an access all areas tour with lots of great surprises along the way.
We'll have you back in Dublin at 6.30pm

A visit to the original distillery is a most memorable experience, and then you will be treated to a walk through the micro-distillery which is only operational since 2007, but feels like it has been operational for much longer! On arrival , you will enjoy a flavoursome Kilbeggan Cocktail and at the end of the tour, you will also enjoy a tasting of 4 whiskeys from the Kilbeggan portfolio , which include; The Tyrconnell (a must for single malt fans) and you will also try our most famous expression of peated Irish - Connemara! They have thought of everything on this visit to the home of the number 2 Irish whiskey globally! The experience starts with an Irish Coffee demo and sampling, followed by a guided tour through the state-of-the-art whiskey distillery. The visit to one of the Tullamore warehouses is just incredibly special, you'll enjoy some cask strength single pot still Tullamore whiskey straight from the cask, followed by a tutored tasting of three Tullamore whiskeys. Time for shopping before return transfer to Dublin.
