Itinerary

  • 07:30

    ~7:50 AM Pick-up from the hotel. The pick-up area covers Hanoi city center, major hotels, and the Old Quarter.

  • Free shuttle service is available only if the hotel address is in Hoan Kiem district (district may be displayed as Dist or Quan)

  • 09:00

    Arrival at Bat Trang village.

  • First, we toured the facility where the workshop is located. The workshop is on the 6th to 4th floors, the 3rd floor sells antiques, and the 2nd to 1st floors are souvenir shops.

  • 09:30

    You can experience painting Bat Trang pottery before it is fired. You can take home the painted work for free. If you are a resident or long-term visitor, you can pick up the finished fired work at a later date (about one week later).

  • 10:15

    We will visit a shop that sells a lot of New Bat Trang pottery, which features contemporary designs and attractive colors.

  • 10:30

    Visit Bat Trang Market, stopping along the way to see the giant ovens that once produced Bat Trang pottery.

  • 11:30

    Visit a store selling high-quality Bat Trang pottery with a wide selection.

  • 12:00

    Depart from Bat Trang village.

  • 12:30

About the painting experience:

  • If you would like to collect your finished Bat Trang pottery, it will take approximately one week to be delivered.
    As a general rule, the item will be handed over to our office, so please come and collect it from our office.
    If you do not come to collect your package within a month without contacting us, we will generally discard it.
  • We cannot take any responsibility if the painted Bat Trang pottery is cracked or damaged when it arrives.
  • The Bat Trang pottery workshop is sandy, so your clothes may get dirty. We recommend that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Reminders
Please note that some souvenir shops do not accept credit cards. If you wish to make a purchase, please bring cash.
If there are no other reservations for a single person, the fee will be doubled. If the tour ends up with multiple people, the extra fee will be refunded.
