On top of the Rhigos Mountain you will stop briefly to take in the breath-taking views across the Brecon Beacons National Park. You will then head into Wales' 2nd largest national park and visit South Wales highest Waterfall, Henrhyd Falls, also known as "The Batman Waterfall" due to it being used as the filming location for the Batcave in The Dark Knight Rises.
You will head along The Black Mountain Pass, stopping by the former limestone quarry to take in the spectacular views, before continuing on to Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Visitor Centre, where you can have a late lunch looking at Pen-y-Fan, the tallest mountain in South Wales. After lunch you will begin your journey back to Cardiff and discovering more of Bannau Brycheiniog, on the way and stopping for photos at some of the best viewpoints in the national park.
