Meet your friendly driver (Chinese/English speaking driver available) at 8:00.a.m at your hotel lobby or apartment, and drive about 1.5 hours to Huanghuacheng Great Wall. Upon arrival, your driver will help you to buy the ticket. The Great Wall at Huanghuacheng is located 45 miles (70 kilometers) away from Beijing city. It is the only lakeside Wall in Beijing, one of the top destinations for a Great Wall hiking tour. In the summer, visitors can also enjoy a boat ride on the lake (own expense) to appreciate the beautiful surroundings.
After 2-3 hours hiking, stop for a local lunch in your need (can be recommend by your driver). Then head to Yinshan Pagoda Forest (about 1 hour driving time), featured by beautiful natural landscapes and a forest of pagodas. During the Liao and Kin dynasties many Buddhist temples were built here. The pagoda forest was actually the cemetery of the monks of the temple. Today seven pagodas still stand, five built during the Kin Dynasty and two during the Yuan Dynasty.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 4:30.p.m.
