Port Arthur is a colonial-era convict site, the largest prison in the Southern
Hemisphere during the 19th century, and is currently the best-preserved prison
heritage site in Australia. The cultural history of Port Arthur and the
beautiful scenery of the Tasman Peninsula make it one of Tasmania's most
famous tourist hotspots. Every visitor to Tasmania makes a special trip to
visit Port Arthur (admission ticket paid separately). On the way to Port
Arthur, we will also visit the four natural wonders of the Tasman Peninsula:
Tasman Arch, Devil's Kitchen, Tessellated Pavement, and Remarkable Cave.
- Day 2: Richmond Village - Salamanca - Mount Wellington - Oyster Farm - Cherry Picking (Seasonal)
In the morning, we will first drive to Richmond, Australia's best-preserved
historic village, where you will visit the oldest stone arch bridge in
Australia, built in 1823, and a Catholic church built in 1836. The old
bakeries and dessert shops in the town are also great places for tourists to
visit. This is also a filming location for the Hong Kong movie 'Heartfall
Arises'. Next, we will visit Salamanca Place. In the afternoon, we will ascend
Mount Wellington, which stands at an altitude of 1,270 meters. It is an
excellent location to overlook the panoramic view of Hobart and the nearby
sea, and it is also a place that President Xi Jinping has visited. We will
also head to a famous Tasmanian oyster farm, where you can taste delicious
Pacific oysters (at your own expense). During the cherry season, we will also
pick and taste Tasmanian cherries ourselves (at your own expense, season runs
from December to January).
- Day 3: East Coast - Swansea - Coles Bay - Honeymoon Bay - Wineglass Bay
The east coast of Tasmania is a dream world, with blue skies, white clouds,
colorful seawater, and diverse reefs adorning the coast. In 1999, the American
travel magazine Outside voted Wineglass Bay as one of the top ten beaches in
the world. However, Wineglass Bay is nestled among the mountains, and its
beauty is not immediately visible; visitors must climb up and put in some
effort to appreciate its splendor. We will stop at the beautiful coastal town
of Swansea along the way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tasmania's east
coast from different angles. (For safety reasons, the guide will not accompany
you on the hike.)
- Day 4: Cradle Mountain - Dove Lake - Town of Murals
Depart in the morning for Cradle Mountain. Located at the northern end of
Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, it is the most famous hiking
route and part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The beautiful
Cradle Mountain rests peacefully, reflected in the calm waters of Dove Lake.
This view is truly unique and is a classic shot for photographers. On the way
back, we will pass through the town of Sheffield, where you can admire
exquisite murals. Hong Kong pop singer Eason Chan and Chinese actors Li Chen
and Zhang Xinyu have all left their own mural works here.
- Day 5: Swiss Village - Cataract Gorge - Ross Village - Lavender Farm (Seasonal)
Airport pickup / Transfer to designated hotel:
Airport drop-off: For drop-off on the last day of the tour, it is recommended
to book a flight departing from Hobart after 19:35.
Transfer to city hotel: After the tour, you will be transferred to designated
hotels in the city (Best Western Hotel, Hobart City Apartments, Crowne Plaza
Hobart).
Launceston is the second-largest city in Tasmania and a gateway to the north
of the island. It boasts numerous Victorian-style buildings, and the
atmosphere of the past permeates everywhere. First, we will drive to the Swiss
Village, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Tamar River, or
from December to January, we will visit the famous lavender farm (admission
ticket paid separately). After lunch, we will drive to the Cataract Gorge
Reserve, located just 15 minutes from the city center. There, you will find a
suspension bridge built in 1904, beautiful Victorian gardens, the world's
longest single-span chairlift crossing the gorge (can be taken at your own
expense), and trails built along the cliffs, where you can also see rare wild
peacocks. In the afternoon, return from Launceston to Hobart and visit the
town of Ross.
(The itinerary sequence and activity times may be adjusted due to objective
factors such as weather and traffic on the day.)
Reference hotels:

Note: Tasman Arch and Devil's Kitchen will be under construction for upgrades
from April 15, 2026, to November 30, 2026. During this period, visits to
