Theth is a wonderful village in northern Albania’s Shkodra region. Set among the peaks of the Shala mountains, Theth is isolated, and in times of snow, practically inaccessible.
Edith Durham, a famous English traveler and writer on the Balkans, visited the area in 1908. She wrote of its seclusion:

Our guide will pick you up early at the hotel in Tirana. Our first stop will be Lezha. Lezha is located in north Albania and is a region with thousands of years of history. In Lezha the League of Lezha was created under the order of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. After Lezha we are going toward Thethi.Theth National Park

To reach the Blue Eye you must pass one of the rare beauties that is Grunas Canyon of Theth. To go to Blue Eye we need to walk for 2 hours. For the bravest, it is time to swim. I said that because the water is very cold over there. It is Time to go to Shkodra.Rozafa Castle
