Day 1 : Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho (Lunch)
Cai Be Floating Market
3 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedSinhbalo guide will meet you at 8:00am and we head south to the river town of Cai Be..Arriving at around 10:30am, we board our motorized boat to journey through Cai Be floating market. Here, we will view the intricacies of commerce – how merchants purchase products from local farmers. As you cruise by CaiBe bridge, you will see on the packaging shop that all the boat with fruits landing here. During our cruise the town’s secluded canals, we will stop at some local factories to see locals making pop rice cakes, rice paper cakes, coconut candies and products from coconut trees. We also enjoy sampan ride and pedal down narrow natural waterways. Stopping at a local home to try seasonal fruits (such as longan, pineapple, rambutan, papaya, jackfruit etc). Continue walking through the village and get back to our boat cruise to another local house for a delicious Vietnamese lunch. Time to relax, then we board the boat again to Vinh Long province. Can Tho to Saigon
Cai Rang Floating Market
3 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAn early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, the largest wholesale market in the Mekong Delta. Of course now this market is not crowded and busy as it was before, but still interesting experience for people who do not live in Mekong delta area. Then we have a long distance cruise to Phong Dien in winding natural waterways. Our guide will stop in between for you to walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery, see several kinds of fruit tree and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Our van pick us up and head back to My Tho to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, located in a large garden in My Phong commune. Here, you can also visit a village making vermicelli (noodle). On the way from MyTho to Long An, we will stop by a dragon fruit garden, learn more about this fruit tree. We keep on driving through the rice fields in Ben Luc to return to Saigon.- Food And DrinksBreakfast
