Highlights
You hop on your e-bike, and within minutes, you leave behind Medellín’s most touristy areas. The traffic and noise fade away as you ride through neighborhoods where daily life unfolds, untouched by the rush of visitors. In the plaza, you spot a group of elderly men playing cards, as if time had stood still. Further ahead, the scent of freshly made buñuelos draws you into a traditional bakery, awakening your appetite. You pedal along tree-lined streets, hear stories that don’t appear in guidebooks, and sit at a table with locals to taste an arepa made from the same recipe used for decades. Here, the city doesn’t put on a show for tourists—it lives, it breathes, it’s savored without filters. If you’re looking for a tour that truly connects you with the real Medellín, this is it.

We went outside the main tourist district and experienced a more authentic Colombia , with some food gems, and made even better by the enthusiasm of the local guide Andres. Cycling was very easy going, with most of the height meters coming from one bridge.
