Great family activity when you have free time. The spring weather added to the experience.
We took the 2:15pm ticket and arrived past 2pm and the ticketing officer still let us join the ride even we were late. It was an amazing service and our Pelago ticket was accepted.it was a fun ride with a very breezy and cold weather since it's winter season when we joined last June 4, 2025. We were seated at the very last carrier and we took the best picture and videos in this last carriage seats.
Very pleasant experience on the train as well as staff. Kids enjoyed very well.
Must go attraction if you have time, very good experience. Very well suited for families and also couple.
What a great experience Puffing Billy was while visiting Melbourne. I remember riding this steam train when I was a kid and it’s still the same locomotive as it was back then. It is definitely worth riding on board and stepping back in time. Will definitely ride Puffing Billy again when I visit Melbourne the next time. I would also like to recognise all the staff that work on Puffing Billy as they are all volunteers doing a fantastic job keeping this memorabilia alive. Many thanks for your excellent service.
