I booked this activity for myself and my family members for a holiday. The experience was horrifying. Firstly, on arrival to the location, the bikes were not well prepared and not tested. The provider had to test the bikes and refuel in front of the whole group, making us wait under the hot sun. Secondly, the bikes were off poor quality. I have done ATVs in other countries and locations so I have a comparison. The engines hit up quickly, the bikes's batteries died frequently, having to be restarted multiple times during the ATV experience. The brakes were not working for some ATVs which posted a safety hazard. My mother who is around 50 to 60 years old flipped her ATV because the brakes were not working while going down the slope. Another member within the group also flipped his ATV because the brakes were not working. They both sustained multiple abrasions and contusions. It was fortunate that I am a doctor and there was also a nurse in the group, and we could assess the casualities and manage them. All in all, an extremely poor experience. I always tell my colleagues and friends to book from pelago as the prices are comparable and also we can earn additional miles. However, this experience should be excluded from Pelago's list of activities as this is clearly a safety hazard. All my other experiences booked with Pelago was great but this is an exception. Please consider removing this vendor from your page as this is a safety hazard and will ruin anyone's holiday's experience.
