On December 31, 2025, the Badaling Night Great Wall will host a New Year’s Eve party themed after Journey to the West, offering visitors a nighttime celebration that blends traditional heritage with contemporary Chinese style. Around 60 iconic characters from the classic tale — including the legendary Monkey King — will appear, creating an immersive festive atmosphere. The North Gate Wall will feature a large-scale 3D projection light show. Following the electronic fireworks countdown, a 2-meter-tall “Digital Wukong” will make its debut, delivering a spectacular visual performance.
