Using mashukyoto's original furoshiki, you'll dye your favorite letters or numbers with Ise stencils, traditional patterns long used for kimono designs. During the experience, you can also observe skilled artisans at work inside the factory, built with a wooden truss structure. The factory, constructed in the Taisho era, is registered as one of the “Buildings and Gardens that Color Kyoto.” Enjoy a hands-on experience of a traditional craft that continues to this day, and take home a one-of-a-kind furoshiki as a special souvenir.
