You will be able to touch the 1900 year old monument and gain an understanding of why such a prominent boundary was constructed by Hadrian's soldiers. As well as visiting Hadrian's wall you will see a milecastle, walk where the soldiers walked and see the scale of the vallum defence ditch to the south of the frontier.
