Baltra-Santa Cruz-Isabela-Flamingo Lagoon

  • Santa Cruz Island

    Your trip will start at the Baltra airport. The guide will pick you up at the arrivals area of the airport. The guide will take you to Puerto Ayora for lunch. Then, you will take the small public boat to Isabela.

  • Isabela Island

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    Upon arrival in Isabela you will head to Flamingo Lagoon, which is the largest coastal lagoon found in Galapagos and is one of the main breeding sites for most of the flamingos.

Sierra Negra-Concha Perla

  • Sierra Negra

    After breakfast, you will take an excursion to the Sierra Negra Volcano. The Sierra Negra Volcano is located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil and has the second largest volcanic crater in the world, 6 miles wide and 300 feet deep. To reach this incredible view, you will travel by bus for 45 minutes to the Gala-Pagos National Park, where you will begin the hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano. This hike lasts approximately 4 hours, starts at 870 meters altitude and at the top of the crater you will have reached 1040 meters.

  • Isabela Island

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    Before returning to the hotel we will stop for a box lunch. After a short rest at the hotel, you will have the opportunity to snorkel or swim at Concha Perla, where you can observe colorful fish, sea urchins, starfish, sea lions and even sea turtles.

    After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and start your tour to Baltra Island. The boat from Isabela to Santa Cruz leaves at 6 AM.

  • Santa Cruz Island

    When you arrive at the Port of Puerto Ayora, someone will pick you up to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, which houses turtles ranging from 3 inches (new hatchlings) to 4 feet long. In addition, you will have an interesting explanation of Darwin's theory of evolution. Lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Santa Cruz Island

    In the afternoon, after a brief rest, we start a tour in vans or buses to the upper part of Santa Cruz. Through hikes you will get to know the natural habitat of endemic species such as the Giant Tortoises, Finches and the Pájaro Brujo. In addition to unique and abundant vegetation that make this natural environment a very special visit. Return to Puerto Ayora

    Before your flight you will visit Los Gemelos on your way to the airport. "Los Gemelos" or "Twin Craters", are located one in front of the other. The name is only symbolic, those are not really twins, this formation was created by the collapse of the surface due to the lava flow many years ago. The tour ends with the arrival at the airport.
