The Elephant Peace Project, situated near Chiang Rai, is a sustainable ecotourism initiative. Since 2016, the project is run by the indigenous Karen people and elephant owners. The park prioritizes the well-being of elephants and enforces a strict no-riding policy.

Spending half a day connecting with them on such a profound level is a truly special experience beyond words. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our entire trip.
