The tour starts with a look at the kooyang holding tank and an overview of their habitat and lifecycle.
Boardwalk and Jetty
Walk along the boardwalk and out onto the jetty over the lake, where your guide will give you an overview of the Gunditjmara creation story and point out the extensive marine and bird life of the lake.
The Weir
Continue along the western edge of the lake to the weir, here you will learn about the ancient landscape, the extensive range of stone aquaculture sites, fish traps, and the local Aboriginal culture.

Return back to the cafe after the end of the tour.
