One of its most prominent features were the walls, some of which were over five meters high and which were constructed without mortar.
There are 200 such sites in southern Africa, such as Bumbusi in Zimbabwe and Manyikeni in Mozambique, with monumental, mortarless walls but none as large and intact as those of Great Zimbabwe.

Our guide will take you around this magnificent shelter and you will explore the Hill complex,Conical Tower, Great Enclosure ,the Shona Village till lunch time. After lunch you will start your driving back to Harare after your great tour of the Great Zimbabwe and we expect you to be back in Harare just before dark.
