My wife and I had an incredible time. It was by far one of the best experiences in our lives. Every single crew member was amazing! Thank you for this amazing memory.
Awesome experience and totally worth the journey to see the whales up close
Great learning trip for the kids
We were excited for this tour. However, due to unfortunately bad weather, the trip was cancelled. The tour operator proactively reached out to offer alternative options we were happy with.
In winter it too dark to see the whale. Not much whale compare to other other whale trip. Boat was too bumpy.
It was very unfortunate that the weather was very bad. The sea was rough and terrible but the crew was always reassuring and around to support people that had seasickness. They inform us even before we move off that the sea is rough and we might not be able to see the whales.
Roughly 3 hours there, 1 hour to watch the whale, 3 hours back Staffs are very passionate and loves to teach about whales. I learn a great deal about whales. The whales were far far away - needs minimum 6x zoom to photograph it. Some may feel it was a waste of time, but I understand that it is just due to nature. Sometimes you can't really see them.
We did see the whales in multiple occasions but from a very far distance. And instead of sailing closer to the animal, the cruise turned & moved in an opposite direction which we do not understand. E.g. the orca was initially at 12 o'clock direction but the cruise had to turn and ended up to be a 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock direction where it then made it not visible to us. And there was also a pod of whales right infront of us, while other boats/ cruise sailed nearer to them, ours remained a far distance or even turning to another direction making photo taking undesirable. The entire end to end trip was quite tiring & disappointing considering the aim to see those beautiful animals at a closer distance was not met though it was clearly feasible.
