The twin pagodas and waterfall were pretty. The tour includes a visit to a local tribe village mostly to sell scarf and coffee as well as a short hide to see the jungle. Overall, an enjoyable day.
Wonderful. Well organised tour. Highly recommended. TripGuru's tour guide Mr Samphan (Sam) was excellent, full of enthusiasm and passion for nature.
Doi Inthanon national park visit was without doubt the highlight of my short trip to Chiang Mai (I rate this more highly than the elephant sanctuary)! Wachirathan Waterfall was beautiful and we were able to see a rainbow forming towards the base of the waterfall. Angka Nature Trail was also a very therapeutic experience away from the hustle & bustle of the city and it was fun to walk along this short boardwalk. The twin pagodas was arguably the best part of the visit as there were amazing panoramic views to soak in (I believe at the Queen's pagoda). The flower gardens were also beautifully manicured. The bonus gift was seeing a couple of cherry blossom trees en route! What made the trip so enjoyable was the very humourous guide, Nana and the great group of travellers. Nana made a lot of jokes and as we bumped into our tour groups, it was also evident that she was a respected guide among peers (as she was older than most of them). She even got our group free mango sticky rice & pandan custard desserts, stopping by a restaurant as we were making our way down.
The waterfall and pagodas were beautiful, lots of photo spots and learnt some great history of Chiang Mai. Thanks to our tour guide Sunny and driver Pit. There were great, very helpful and attentive.
My guide from Tripguru Immy is really professional. She spoke good English and was attentive from the start. She arranged the pickup time and texted me the day before the trip and reminded me to bring the things I might need. Immy did a great job explaining each of the sightseeing places we went. It was a wonderful tour experience thanks to her.
Enjoyed the tour to Karen village the best. Good food and a leisurely way to spend the day. Our guide, Khun Nana, and driver are kind and gracious. Khun Nana is a treasure trove of information. Highly recommended.
